Kudrin says accepts Yandex’s offer to become corp devt advisor

MOSCOW, Dec 5 (PRIME) -- Alexei Kudrin, a former head of Russia’s Audit Chamber, said on Monday he will become a corporate development advisor at Internet company Yandex.

“I have accepted Yandex’s offer to become a corporate development advisor. Together with the management, I will work out a corporate structure of a new holding that will ensure long-term and sustainable development of the company on all the markets, including international,” Kudrin said on Telegram.

The parliament’s upper house Federation Council approved an early resignation of Kudrin from the top position at the Audit Chamber on November 30.

Dutch company Yandex N.V., the parent firm of Russian Internet company Yandex, said on November 25 that its board of directors had started reviewing the ways to restructure the group’s ownership and governance amid the current geopolitical climate.
